About TradeCheckPH
TradeCheckPH publishes regulation-first guides for Filipino traders researching forex brokers and prop firms — starting with how to verify a license yourself, and the scam patterns Philippine regulators keep warning about.
Why this site exists
Search results for "forex Philippines" are crowded with content that either recycles unverified broker claims or downplays real regulatory risk to drive signups. We built TradeCheckPH around a narrower promise: every regulatory claim is checked against a primary source before publishing, and we don't publish specific numbers (spreads, fees, withdrawal times) we haven't verified ourselves.
How we research and fact-check
- Regulatory and legal claims are checked against primary sources — official publications from the SEC Philippines, the BSP, and the specific broker regulator being discussed (FCA, ASIC, CySEC, etc.) — not secondary summaries.
- Every guide lists its "last verified" date and, where applicable, its sources, so you can judge how current the information is.
- We do not publish specific broker or prop firm figures (spreads, fees, payout times) until we've completed hands-on verification. Until then, our Broker Reviews and Prop Firms sections stay as placeholders rather than guessing.
- Regulatory guidance changes. We treat every guide as a framework to help you ask the right questions, not a substitute for checking the current official source yourself.
How this site makes money
TradeCheckPH earns affiliate commissions when readers sign up with certain brokers or prop firms through links on this site, at no extra cost to the reader. This is disclosed in the footer of every page. We do not accept payment to publish a specific number, claim, or favorable review — our fact-checking standard applies the same way regardless of whether a broker is an affiliate partner.
Corrections
Regulatory information changes, and we may occasionally get something wrong. If you spot an error or outdated information in any guide, the "last verified" date at the top of each article reflects when we last checked it — treat anything older than a few months with extra caution and verify independently before making a decision.
